New starter alert! Meet Vicky Drake
Big news from the Creative Natives team! We’re thrilled that Vicky Drake has joined us. After a fun and brilliant career in some of the best agencies in London and Sydney (plus a couple of client-side stints), Vicky embraced her passion for the people of our industry and took her skills into recruiting for it.
We sat down and had a chat with Vicky so you can get to know her a little better.
WHAT DO YOU DO AT CREATIVE NATIVES?
I’m the General Manager, based in the Sydney office. I’ll be looking after the team, forging relationships with our wonderful clients and keeping our legendary candidate experience best-in-class.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT RECRUITMENT?
Genuinely connecting with brilliant and lovely people. Whilst we don’t save lives, we do change them – matching a candidate with their dream employer impacts the trajectory of someone’s career.And given we spend so much of our time at work, the importance of doing a job that keeps us challenged and happy at the same time can’t be underestimated.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO JOIN CREATIVE NATIVES?
I’ve been fangirling on Creative Natives for a while now. I love our commitment to good causes – for example return-to-work parents and helping B Corp companies. I love the added value we give to our epic network of candidates and clients. And I love the team 🙂

The singer in a hip hop band. Shame I’m too old, too unco and too tone-deaf…
